Kevin Connelly (MC)
Kevin Connelly has nearly 30 years experience with Bay Area-based environmental and animal advocacy organizations, in various fundraising, membership development, communications, and management roles. Most recently, he was Associate Director of Earth Island Institute for over the past 11.5 years. Before that, Kevin was Development Director of In Defense of Animals, and for The Gorilla Foundation, home of Koko the gorilla, and he worked in various development and program roles with Sierra Club. He is an advisory board member of Factory Farm Awareness Coalition, and was on the board of EarthShare CA. Kevin is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and has Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Management and in Economics from Carnegie Mellon. He has been a vegetarian for the planet for more than two decades, and an ethical vegan for the animals since 2002.
